Abby Lee

Generally I want her hair.. and her body is pretty hot too, lets be honest. This is eccentric Australian model Abby Lee. She's risen to stardom over the last three years making a name for herself in the modeling industry. Starting out by winning the Girlfriend CoverGirl Model Search in Australia in 2004 she moved on to New York in 2007. She has since modeled for Mario Testino, Vogue, Dazed and Confused, Pop, ID and many more.

Anyway she is generally pretty cool, even if she is a bit odd (check out the interview on The Times website and you'll know what I mean).
With her soft angular face and big bold eyes, she is definitely the model to watch for 2010.

If you had to steal someone's wardrobe...

It would be my friend Chelsea's. It's to die for. She just sent me a picture on her blackberry of he
r new Versace shoes and I have to say I am more than a little jealous. When it comes to clothes, shoes are definitely my weakness. I gazed longingly at the picture as she told me how she was too scared to wear them out just yet. Meanwhile I thought of my new Topshop shoes at home still snugly wrapped up safely in their box as I didn't have the heart to expose them to the treacheries of London streets just yet. Somehow this seemed to put things in perspective.

Can't wait to see these on they look fantastic! She also came to lunch yesterday wearing the new Prada sunglasses, green with pink lenses, and they looked gorgeous. I tried them on and the tinted lenses were surreal. The whole world just looked, well, better. Definitely an instant mood lifter.

BOUNDARY

Yesterday I met my friend for brunch, and we decided to try out Boundary in East London. It was a gorgeously sunny day with the temperature floating around 17 degrees. It seemed incredible that it was that warm, especially considering I was stranded just a couple of weeks ago due to snow. But finally it was time to say goodbye to my black tights (at least for now) and prance around in the sun for a while. We decided to check out this rooftop restaurant that lingered near Shoreditch House. The 360 degree view of London combined with the achingly cool decor made it utterly spectacular. I might as well have been in Spain, lounging around on the deck chairs soaking up the sun. The whole experience seemed rather exclusive, with everyone there draped in the most sophisticated designer clothes and latest accessories.
It was amazing, all except the food that is. I decided to order what I thought was an artichoke salad but ended up being, well, just an artichoke, which I then spent 30 inelegant minutes trying to dismember. Meanwhile my friend gazed blankly at his lobster that appeared to only have half a body. Apart from that though the drinks and chips were lovely and I can't wait to go back. I could definitely get used to this life... Just need to finish uni and land an amazing job... one day, one day.

Ally Capellino

Thought I would explain why I have been ridiculously terrible at posting recently. I've been busy doing an internship with British designer Ally Capellino. Famous for her timeless yet modern pieces she has stockists round the world from Milan to Tokyo. Particularly well known for her classic, innovative yet understated bag collection she is currently selling a range at Liberty's celebrating 30 years of her work. Fans of her collection include Keira Knightly, Alexa Chung and Orlando Bloom. Her label is all about longevity, with the bags only getting better with age as each bag takes on a new personality of the wearer.

They are a perfect essential for working the new utility trend and are guaranteed to become a staple piece in your wardrobe. Made from the most luxurious soft leather, they are hard to resist. My favourite is the bag 'Michael' in grey.... also the tan clutch seems to be tempting me too..

Throughout my internship I have been helping to set up Ally's retrospective show celebrating 30 years. The show is taking place at the Wapping Project, London from the 22nd of April to the 22nd of May.

Central Saint Martins MA- A/W 2010

Was having a peek at the Central Saint Martin's MA Autumn Winter show 2010 and thought I would quickly post my favourite pieces! How cosy do those fuzzy dresses look?! Could definitely do with one of those right now, the lack of heating and rubbish weather is making me grumpy...
